Hello, I'm Taylor! My story is nothing fantastic. It's quite ordinary actually. The difference was that I chose to be a victim of my experiences until I forced myself into a very dark place mentally and physically. I walked away from Alcohol on 8 June, 2019 and haven't looked back (too much). As someone who found themselves trapped in the pit of their addiction with no escape, I felt lost, alone, and hopeless in my efforts to change. I simply couldn't continue. It was in that defeat that I found hope. I let go of all my expectations and allowed the world to be as it was. It was through this simple, yet extraordinary experience that I began my journey in sobriety. I am still on this journey of rediscovering who I really am and how amazing this short existence can be.
